Kumasi Asante Kotoko has touched down in Cote d’Ivoire ahead of their second leg encounter with FC San Pedro in the final qualifying round to the group phase of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors want to progress to the group stage of the second-tier inter-club competition after failing to advance in the CAF Champions League.
After beating their Ivorian counterpart by a goal to nil earlier this week, Kotoko is hoping to get a good result from the second round to ensure they earn a spot in the group stage.
The Ghana Premier League giants wrapped up training in Kumasi yesterday and flew out of the country earlier this afternoon.
They have now successful arrived in Abidjan as they look to train tomorrow before going into the game on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
?Safely in ??Cote d'Ivoire, and in our ?hotel in Abidjan. ? Thanks for the well wishes. #AKSC #CAFCC #SANKOT #SanPedroMustFall pic.twitter.com/F0ju6FDooG
