Joseph Yaw Adu has revealed that Kotoko is yet to receive any official document from the Ghana Football Association in relation to their participation in the CAF Champions League.
Following the cancelation of the 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko was selected as Ghana’s sole representative in CAF's elite competition.
Meanwhile, the main discussion surrounding the club’s selection has been their readiness to compete in the CAF inter-club competition but according to Mr. Adu, the record holders of the Ghanaian top-flight are yet to receive an official letter in relation to their participation in the continental competition.
Speaking on local radio station Sikka FM he said
“We’ve heard on radio that we are representing Ghana in Africa but yet to receive an official letter from the Ghana Football Association,”
