Kotoko's CAF Champions League opponents Nouadhibou appoint new coach

Mauritanian side Nouadhibou have appointed a new head coach named Amir Abdo ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Asante Kotoko.

Abdo hails from Comoros and has signed a two-year deal with the Mauritania giants.

His first test will be against Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko at home. The two teams will battle it out in two legs as they seek to advance to the next round of CAF Champions League qualification.

The first game has been scheduled to happen on Friday with the return leg set for the following week.

Asante Kotoko failed to qualify for the main competition last season and will hope to get one over the new coach.
