Footballghana.com can report that Asante Kotoko's encounter against Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League today has been called off.
The decision has been taken due to the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) which has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).
A statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Sunday night said the Ghana Premier League has been suspended in accordance with the announcement from H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on the same day which shared that all Sporting activities has been suspended.
In line with that, the clash between Asante Kotoko and Inter Allies later this afternoon has been postponed to a later date yet to be confirmed.
“The Ghana Football Association has with immediate effect suspended all football competitions including the 2019/2020 Premier League.
“This means that our matchday-15 clash against Inter Allies which was slated for Monday will not come on”, Kotoko has confirmed on their Twitter page.
