Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu is set to be sidelined for one-week after suffering a minor injury in their Caf Confederation Cup group C game against Zesco United at the Baba Yara stadium on Wednesday.
Senanu risk travelling with the team to Zambia for their crucial fixture against Nkana FC after sustaining an injury in the midweek fixture.
The midfielder, who was impressive in midfield was stretched off midway in the second half and was replaced by former AshantiGold defender Habib Mohammed.
The youngster missed the team’s recovery training on Thursday as the medical team of the club work on his fitness.
Coach Charles Kwablan Akunnor is likely to introduce experienced pair Jordan Opoku and Daniel Nii Adjei in the squad should Senanu fail to recover quickly for the game in Kitwe on February 24.
Kotoko will be looking to record their second win in the comeptition when they travel to face Nkana FC in Zambia
