Former Black Stars forward, Kevin-Prince Boateng featured for Besiktas today and ended up providing assists even though they lost 3-1 to Kayserispor at the end of the 90 minutes.

The attacker who is on loan from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina could not earn a starting role for his team at the Kadir Has Stadium when they honored a date on Matchday 30 of the ongoing Turkish Super Lig season.

The attacker was brought on to replace Necip Uysal on the 62nd minute when Besiktas was trailing 1-0 after Hasan Huseyin Acar had given the home Kayserispor the lead.

A little after 10 minutes after coming on, KP Boateng assisted Atiba Hutchinson to find the back of the net to level the score.

The favorites to win the game could not take advantage of the momentum with the home team scoring 2 goals in the final 10 minutes of the game through strikes from Hasan Huseyin Acar and Artem Kravets.

KP Boateng managed to impress but it had little impact on the game with his team losing 3-1 at the end of the 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Kayserispor's poster boy Bernard Mensah had to miss the game due to a minor setback.
