Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Bentenase FC 3-2 in a friendly game

In a friendly match on Thursday morning, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the reigning Ghana Premier League winner, defeated lower-tier team Bentenase FC 3-2.

Solomon Sarfo-Taylor, Augustine Agyapong, and captain Richard Boadu popularly known as Agadas led the Ghanaian giants to victory.

In order to prepare for their league match against Kotoku Royals, the squad played a game at the Adako Jachie training facility. Justice Blay who has recovered from injury played some minutes in the encounter against the lower tier side.

On match week 31, the sixth-placed Porcupine Warriors will go to the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu to take on the Oda-based team.

They will be looking to rebound on Monday after going winless in their past three games.

The Porcupine Warriors could not defend the title they won last season. The Kumasi based club will now battle to capture a spot in the top four with four games remaining in the league.
