Bankroller of Dreams FC, Kurt E.S Okraku has stressed that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) requires a strong marketing department in order to flourish.

The experienced football administrator is among seven aspirants who are hoping to be voted for in the upcoming GFA elections.

He recently launched his manifesto dubbed ‘Game changer’ where he highlighted various plans he has lined up to transform the football governing body which is currently going through reforms.

Among many other things, Kurt Okraku has promised to commercialize the sports in the country to ensure the flow of revenue to the various clubs.

Whiles sponsorship continues to be a major headache for the FA, the presidential hopeful revealed how that can be changed. According to him, the body needs a vibrant marketing department and he will see to it once he is given the mandate to occupy the seat.

“Administratively we have to improve in order to make our game strong. The FA needs a strong marketing department not a committee with the qualified personnel”, Kurt Okraku said in an interview with Happy FM.

Ahead of the October 25 polls, the likes of George Afriyie, Fred Pappoe, Lawyer Amanda Clinton, Osei Kwaku Palmer, Lawyer George Ankomah, and Nana Yaw Amponsah are all vying for the top job at the GFA.
