Former Kotoko Express Editor, Jerome Otchere has accused Ghana Football Association [GFA] boss, Kurt Okraku of failing to develop football in the country.

His comments come after the Black Galaxies suffered a defeat in their opener at the ongoing 2022 African Nations Championship [CHAN] tournament.

According to him, the poor performance of the Black Stars at the 2021 AFCON and the 2022 World Cup indicates that the leadership of the country's football governing body led by Kurt Okraku is failing to do the right thing.

He added Mr Okraku is likely to lose his presidency if things do not change.

"We went to Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Cameroon and we failed to perform. In fact, we failed to win a game which has never happened in the history of the country. The same trend happen at the World Cup and this is under the leadership of Kurt Okraku," he told Asempa FM.

"I watched the Black Galaxies against Madagascar and it is clear Kurt Okraku is failing to develop our game.

"The pitches we play our game are horrible and for me, if things do not change, Kurt Okraku might lose the elections," he added.

The Black Stars exited at the Mundial at the group phase after finishing at the bottom of Group H with just three points.

Meanwhile, the Black Galaxies will face Sudan in their second group game on Wednesday.
