Kwadwo Asamoah delighted with Inter Milan’s win over Udinese; insists team is on the right track

Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed delight in Inter Milan’s 1-0 win over Udinese in the Italian Serie A whiles stressing that the team is on the right track.

The Nerazzurri's are the only team in the Italian top-flight that has maintain a 100% record after 3 matches.

Kwadwo Asamoah featured on the match day and helped his side cruise to a narrow win. Attacker Stefano Sensi found the back of the net on the 44th minute to hand the side all 3 points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Speaking to Inter.it after the win, Asamoah shared that there is more the teams need to do but they are on the right track to challenging for the Serie A.

“I played wide as the fifth man in midfield some years ago, we’re looking to create space for the team in a way so that we can attack the opponent in one-on-ones”.

“In defense, we must always be alert. As a team, we've shown we're on the right road”.

“We’ve got a winning mentality but there are lots of new players who have to get to know it better. We’re doing well at the moment though”.

Speaking on the performance of some of the side’s new players, Kwadwo Asamoah added, “Sensi and Barella. I saw them do well, for Nicolò it was his first home game but he was affected a bit by the booking in the first half. Both had great games”.
