German lower-tier side MSV Duisburg have announced the signing of Germany-born Ghanaian Kwadwo Leroy in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old joins the Bundesliga III club on a two-year deal as a free agent after the expiration of his short-term contract with Dynamo Dresden.

He joined the Dresden based club last January on a six-month deal and has left the club at the end of the spell.

After putting pen to paper, the enterprising left-back says he is hoping to have a positive season with his new outfit.

He added he know what the club are made of prior to the move.

"I know MSV Duisburg from my youth, come from the region and know that MSV is one of the big clubs in the area. The sporting ambition and the infrastructure have now convinced me here” he told the Club's official website

Sporting director lvo Grlic was also full of praises for his former club's protege after reuniting with him once again ahead of the new football league campaign in the German lower division contest

“A full-back who recently promoted his teams to the 2nd Bundesliga twice in a row. We are looking forward to an exciting player who not only comes from the region, but also knows our game club as a former youth player," lvo said to the same club's forum.

He featured 12 times for Dynamo Dresden in the Bundesliga III in the just ended season.
