Kwame Bonsu pens good luck message to Kotoko and Ashgold ahead of Africa campaign

Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu has taken to his official Twitter handle to pen a goodwill message to Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Obuasi Ashanti Gold as they begin their campaigns in the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.

The two clubs secured qualification to represent Ghana in CAF’s inter-club competitions after emerging as winners of the two tiers of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition.

They both start off their Africa journey later today in the preliminary round of the inter-club competitions on the continent.

The Porcupine Warriors will be hosted by Nigeria club Kano Pillars whiles Obuasi Ashanti Gold are set to play as guests to Equatorial Guinea side Akonangui FC in what should be entertaining fixtures on the match day.

Kwame Bonsu who now plays his club football for Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis has sent a goodwill message to the two Ghanaian clubs ahead of the first leg of their matches today.

“Wishing Asante Kotoko & Ashanti Gold the best as they’re playing #CAFCL #CAFCC respectively. Let’s go guys!,” the 25-year-old tweeted.
