The former King Faisal striker moved to South Africa in August to join Orlando Pirates for an undisclosed amount.

Peprah did not have a great start in the South African league prompt football pundits to question his abilities.

Orlando Pirates coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids still trusted him and Peprah repaid that trust by scoring two goals in each of the team's last two matches of the season, against Marumo Gallants and AmaZulu, respectively.

In 29 league appearances for King Faisal, the striker scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists, and Ghanaian journalist Baba Amando expects him to replicate similar performances for Pirates.

“Remember what I said the last time about him that he would first need to adapt because he joined a big club in Orlando Pirates. Pirates is not just a club but a big club with a lot of history so it is important that a player first get used to how they do things at the club. Kwame Peprah is a very good and a hardworking player. Before he left King Faisal for Pirates, big clubs in Ghana were after his services and one of them is Asante Kotoko,” Amando told the Siya crew.

“There are strikers who are just there to score goals but Kwame is different and he gets involved in everything that the team does and he can assist and all of that. I am just concerned that the league has gone into recess as he was starting to do well and will have to start all over again after AFCON but there is more that the fans will see from him,” he added.
