Kwasi Wriedt flops in Eredivisie match week 14

Published on: 30 November 2021

Round number fourteen in the Eredivisie once again yielded the necessary discussion points. Even in empty stadiums, there was still room for VAR moments and varying performances.

The 27-year-old has been sharing in the malaise at Willem II for weeks. Kwasi Wriedt made a good impression last season, but visibly lacks the support of a player like Vangelis Pavlidis next to him.

The Ghanaian has only scored one goal in the last eight matches. Wriedt also made a poor performance against Go Ahead Eagles without any danger for the Deventer goal.

Kwasi Wriedt joined Willem II summer of 2020 from Bayern Munich II on a free transfer. He has two caps for Ghana and he made his debut on 3oth May 2018 against Japan.

In the Eredivisie this season Wriedt has 14 games under his belt, two assist, and four goals.
