Kwesi Appiah calls for support for Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars ahead of the Africa campaign

Head coach of the Black Stars, James Kwesi Appiah has called on Ghanaians football loving fans to throw their support behind Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko ahead of their respective Africa campaign.

Aduana Stars will kick off their Africa campaign by playing Al Tahhady of Libya on Sunday in Egypt in the CAF Champions League competition in the preliminary round.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko who clinched the MTN FA Cup will host CARA Brazzaville at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup competition.

Ahead of their respective clash, the former Al Khartoum manager has implored Ghanaians to back the two sides to make the nation proud on the continent.

"I entreat all Ghanaians to rally behind Aduana and Kotoko because they are representing Ghana so they can make us proud," Appiah told Oyerepa FM.

"I will ask the playing body to keep their focus especially Aduana as they are playing away," he deduced.
