Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah insists they will not underrate Kenya going into their AFCON 2019 qualifier on Saturday.
Kenya will play host to Ghana at the Kasarani Stadium in a second group game.
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his team has been tipped as favourites to win the game but he is not thinking about that as he is ready to field a strong team for the game.
“In football there is nothing like minnows, coming up with that mentality is like preparing to lose. We are here to give Kenya a good game and go for maximum points. They will be playing at home, and that means they have an advantage because the fans will be behind them,” Appiah told Goal.
The Black Stars will be aiming at getting maximum points against their hosts Kenya, who went down 2-1 away to Sierra Leone in their opener.
