Matchday 23 in LaLiga Santander has reached its conclusion, so it is now time to discover who has made it into the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI.
SD Huesca are the main contributors to the lineup, with no fewer than three players making the cut. The Player of the Matchday, however, is D. Alaves's Victor Laguardia (20 fantasy points), who produced a sterling display in his side's 2-0 win at home to Levante UD.
Roberto Santamaria (12) gets the nod between the sticks, having played a key role in Huesca's victory over Girona FC. The shotstopper has a couple of familiar faces in front of him, with teammates Jorge Pulido (14) and Jorge Miramon (14) featuring in the rearguard alongside Player of the Matchday Laguardia (20) and Abdoulaye Ba (14), representing Alaves and Rayo Vallecano, respectively, having been key figures in their side's win last time out.
A midfield trio of Jony (15), Fabian Orellana (13) and Sergi Darder (12) certainly contains goals aplenty, with all three on the scoresheet over the weekend. Orellana scored one of SD Eibar's two goals at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, Darder was influential in Espanyol's triumph over Rayo thanks to a last-minute winner and Jony also left it late, popping up with a 93rd-minute goal against Levante.
A lethal front three of Youssef En-Nesyri (19), Jaime Mata (17) and Chimy Avila (15) complete the side, with the trio shining in wins for their clubs and strutting their stuff out on the pitch. Chimy was the standout performer with a brace in what was one of his finest displays of the season.
