Bechem United

A brace from Yaw Arnol won the 2016 MTN FA Cup for Bechem United in an exciting 2-1 victory over Okwawu United on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Arnol got his first in the 55th minute but Okwawu's Akoto Danso grabbed the equaliser before the two-goal hero won the tie for the Hunters with his final strike.

He won for both his side and coach Manuel Zacharias their first major Ghanaian silverware.

Both teams tested each other in the first half of the game but could not find the target until after recess.

Arnol lashed home a shot from the edge of the area to put Bechem up on 55 minutes.

Okwawu evened the score moments later when Danso showed great pace to connect home a Maclin Ampadu cross in the 63rd minute.

Black Stars newboy Abednego Tetteh then assisted the winning goal for Bechem when he supplied Arnol a pass to fire home.
