New Asante Kotoko midfielder, Latif Anabila has disclosed that Coach Maxwell Konadu was key in deciding to sign for the club.
The highly-rated midfielder after months of speculations finally completed a move to the Kumasi-based club.
He has been signed to give the Porcupine Warriors club a major squad boost ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season.
Opening up on his move to Asante Kotoko, Latif Anabila says Coach Maxwell Konadu was one of the main factors.
“Every player wants to work with a coach that believes in him. The coach spoke to me and made me understand he wants me and for me, that was the main reason”, the former midfielder said in an interview with Fox FM.
He added, “Another factor that influenced my decision was the love of the fans. I felt they really wanted to see me here and that made things easier for me to decide”.
Latif Anabila, 26, is expected to play a key role for Asante Kotoko in the 2020/2021 football season.
