Liberty Professionals marksman, Latif Blessing announced his arrival in the country from national assignment by scoring to earn his side an important point as well as earn himself the joint top scorer tag of the ongoing Premier League season.
Latif scored his ninth goal of the season against Dreams FC at Dawu after leading top scorer Yahaya Mohammed failed to extend his lead in their game against New Edubiase which they won by a lone goal.
This season's goal king race is set to go down to the wire with both players expected to continue with their goal scoring consistency till the end of the campaign.
Latif took the lead in the goal scoring chart after scoring eight goals in 10 matches but was surpassed by Yahaya who capitalized on his rival's postponed match with Medeama to score a brace in their week 11 fixture against Dreams at home.
