Former Ashgold defender Abdul Latif Mohammed has returned to Obuasi with a view to securing a contract with his former club ahead of the start of the next Ghana Premier League season.
Mohammed has been without a club since leaving CF Mouna in oil-rich Gabon.
He is hopeful of securing a contract with Ashgold if he is able to impress the technical handlers of the club.
Ashgold are rebuilding their squad after a n abysmal defence of their Ghana Premier League title over the past season.
They are in talks to sign free agent Latif Salifu, formerly of Liberty Professionals.
