Lawyer Amanda Clinton insist she made the GFA presidential race fun

The Founder of Clinton Consultancy, Lawyer Amanda Clinton has noted that her participation in the 2019 Ghana Football Association (GFA) made it fun.

The international lawyer was one of 6 candidates that vied for the top job as the head of the country's football governing body last year.

Unfortunately for her, she did not get on the good side of the delegates as she failed to get a single vote. Nonetheless, she says her participation has helped her career.

Looking back at the months leading to the elective congress, Lawyer Amanda Clinton says she brought onboard media hype which made the race very fun.

“He or she who dares wins and if you are not willing to take risks in life you are not going to see real benefits and I have always taken risks and you know particularly professionally and I have gained a lot by doing that. In a very humble way, even before I entered the race there wasn’t that much funfair about the contestants because perhaps a few more entrants entered and it was getting closer to the time.

"Then the media hype started. So when I entered the race there wasn’t that much of a media hype", she said in an interview with Joy Sports.

Lawyer Amanda Clinton contested for the GFA elections with the likes of Kurt Okraku, George Afriyie, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, as well as Lawyer George Amoako.
