The former Manchester United and West Ham United front man is struggling to assert himself in the first XI in Italy, and could be in line to play in England once more following his ill-fated move to Italy in 2015.

The 23-year-old has made just eight appearances for the Italian giants, failing to net a goal in that time, and according toCalciomercato, hecould find himself playing in the top flight of English football once more with Lazio keen for the player to leave on a temporary basis in the January transfer window, rather than a permanent move.

Morrison has represented England at U21 level, but failed to push on significantly since signing his first professional senior contract at Old Trafford under former boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who allegedly described him as the best player he had seen at that age.

But following amove to West Ham United under Sam Allardyce after making no full senior appearances with the Red Devils, Morrison spent a period of two years on loan at various clubs in the Championship, including Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City, making a total of 49 appearances, scoring nine goals.

There could be a whole host of Premier League sides who wish to take the risk on Morrison, whose bad-boy attitude has taken the attention away from his raw and exciting talentwith the player yet to reach his full potential, and rumours suggest he could return to the Hammers following a reply to speculation about his future on Instagram.
