Legon Cities FC has booted Inter Allies out of this season's MTN FA Cup competition after beating the side 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium today.
The two Ghana Premier League sides honored a date in the Round of 64 of the MTN FA Cup earlier this afternoon to seek for qualification to the next phase.
A good start from the Royals saw the side taking the lead under 10 minutes courtesy a strike from Latif Abubakari who scored straight from a free-kick.
Though Inter Allies came in strong after conceding, they could not draw level as the first half of the match ended with Legon Cities FC in the lead.
A pulsating encounter in the second half ended in a dramatic fashion as two late goals from Ebenezer Nii Addy wrapped up a hard-fought 3-0 win for the home team.
In respect to the resounding win, Legon Cities FC has advanced to the Round of 32 stage of the MTN FA Cup.
