Legon Cities FC chairman Richard Atikpo gets nod to serve as Council of State representative for Oti Region

Chairman of Legon Cities FC, Mr. Richard Atikpo has been elected to serve as a Member of the Ghanaian Council of State, representing the Oti Region of Ghana.

In a voting process that took place today, the business mogul pulled 11 out of 16 votes to take the mantle while beating competition from eight (8) other candidates.

Reacting to the feat, Legon Cities FC have through a post on their Twitter page extended a message of congratulations to their chairman.

“Hearty Congratulations to our Board Chairman and bankroller Richard Kings Atikpo who has just been elected as a Member of the Ghanaian Council of State, representing the Oti Region of Ghana...Congratulations Sir,” a post on the Twitter page of the club reads.

Among many other things, Mr. Richard Atikpo has pledged to push for and personally offer Scholarships for brilliant but needy students in collaboration with the District Assembly and MPs.
