Legon Cities FC have expressed interest in signing Asante Kotoko duo Matthew Kelvin Andoh and Stephen Ayiku Tetteh for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

The club has officially written to the Porcupine Warriors to inquire about the availability of the pair following his slow start to the new season.

Legon Cities have a had mixed campaign so far this term, having drawn against Liberty Professionals and losing heavily to Asante Kotoko last Friday at the Accra Sports stadium.

According a report filed by Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM, Legon Cities FC have contacted the officials of the Reds over the possible acquisition of the two players.

Andoh and Tetteh are expected to leave the Kumasi-based side on a season-long loan deal at Legon Cities FC should the two parties reach agreement in the coming days.

The pair joined Asante Kotoko on a free transfer prior to the club's campaign in the CAF Champions League last year and have been struggling for regular playing time at the club.

Joining Legon Cities FC will help them to revive their playing career.
