Legon Cities position on the league log worrying - Bashir Hayford admits

Bashir Hayford has said he is unhappy with the position of Legon Cities on the Ghana Premier League table.

After 25 matches played, the Royals sith 15th with 26 points.

Legon Cities suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to WAFA in the matchday 24 games at the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope with Justus Torsutse scoring the only goal on the 31st-minute.

After the defeat, Hayford has admitted that the current position of the club is nothing good to talk about.

“Why am I a worried man," he said after the defeat to WAFA.

"All the games I have played I wanted to get the maximum three points.

“And if you don’t get it, as a coach you must know that one day you will win and one day you will lose, one day you will draw so I’m not a worried man.

“My worry is that where we are lying is my headache and we have to make we come up, that is my worry.

“But in the game and other things, I don’t worry so that is why I make sure we lift ourselves from the place.

“I’m saying that we can do better in coming up.

“So if it is 13th, 14th, 15th that is not our place.

“Anybody hearing Legon Cities, you expect us within the second, third, fourth place.

“That’s why I am saying that I’m worried, there but not worried about the result," he added.

Legon Cities will host Aduana Stars in the matchday 26 games this weekend.
