Legon Cities FC are set to complete the signing of ex-Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley on free transfer in the coming days.

The 27-year-old will pen a deal with the Accra-based side after successful negotiations.

Sulley is currently club-less following the expiration of his contract with Iraqi side Al-Minaa Sporting last summer.

The former Alayanspor ace has been in the country since July last year and was reportedly close to joining Hearts of Oak in January prior to the start of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season, however, the move fell through.

According to reports, he has already started training with Cities for the past two weeks and is expected to pen to paper soon.

Legon Cities are currently 14th on the league table with 12 points after 11 matches played so far this term.

Cities will welcome Techiman Eleven Wonders to the Accra Sports stadium on match week 12 of the on-going league season.
