Legon Cities compensated Aduana Stars before signing Elvis Opoku on deadline day

Legon Cities compensated Aduana Stars Gh 50,000 before completing the late signing of Elvis Opoku on transfer deadline day.

The two parties agreed that Aduana Stars will receive a percentage in the onwards transfer fee.

According to Light FM Legon Cities has given the player GH 60,000 as an enticement fee and Gh 5,000 as transportation. Elvis Opoku will receive a monthly salary of GH 3,000 and a rented apartment worth Gh 500 a month.

Elvis Opoku joined the two-time Ghana Premier League champions from Bibiani Goldstars FC in 2014 after emerging as FA Cup top scorer.

Opoku made 14 appearances for Aduana Stars in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
