The Foxes produced a dominant display at the King Power Stadium against Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace on Saturday, and despite not winning a league game in three of the previous games, Ranieri's men ran out 3-1 victors over the Eagles.

Speaking after the game toSky Sportsabout his side's performance, Ranieri suggested that his side are finally starting to show the belief and charisma that they did in their sensational title winning season last year, and lauded their ability to fight against a tough opponent.

"This was the shape and model of last season," said Ranieri.

"It's when everyone is concentrated and doing their job. We know our weakness but we also know our strengths.

"Crystal Palace are a very good team. They were better than us for the first 20 minutes and moved the ball very quickly. It was difficult for us but after that we put in a very good performance.

"We had to fight today because Crystal Palace maintained the ball and posed a threat. It was very difficult. But we came back and moved the ball quickly, put them under pressure and created some good chances."

Ranieri's men will travel to fellow title challengers Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in their next Premier League fixture, and following their victory this weekend, could jump to as high as seventh as they continue their surge up the table.
