Leicester City defender, Daniel Amartey, has been accused of disrespecting Chelsea after an act of 'trolling' after the FA Cup final win.

Leicester won the trophy for the first time in their history after beating Chelsea in the final by a goal to nil. Youri Tielemans' sumptuous goal separated the two teams.

After the celebrations, Amartey took Chelsea's pennant which was exchanged by captains before kick off and threw it over his shoulder. The pennant fell on the floor, sparking outrage in social media.

Amartey was an unused substitute in the final. After the backlash, Leicester City were forced to apologize. As things stand, Leicester sit third on 66 points while Chelsea are fourth on 65 with a spot in the UEFA Champions League at stake.

Amartey was recently added to Ghana's team for their upcoming friendly games as they slowly prepare for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
