Ghanaian forward, Nathan Opoku says he would not mind extending his loan spell with Oud-Heverlee Leuven.

The 21-year-old joined Leicester City from Syracuse University but was immediately loaned out to the Belgian side.

His loan deal is expected to run out at the end of the 2022/23 football season.

However, Opoku says Leicester will have to decide where he plays next season but he would welcome the decision to extend his stay.

“I feel important here,” he says at Het Nieuwsblad.

“Until now I was never better than now, but I keep learning and can do even better.

"Leicester will decide my future, but I certainly wouldn't mind staying. I feel good here.

"The decision will be made in the coming days or weeks at the latest," he added.
