According to him, the former Swansea City forward has done enough for the national team and should rather be encouraged to keep going.

The Hearts of Oak board member proposes that the technical team of the Black Stars should give Andre Ayew a key role to play at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

“It is totally wrong to bench the captain of the Black Stars. Totally wrong. Dede (Ayew) is a very good footballer and has done enough for the team. I think we rather have to encourage him and let him play a key part in Qatar,” Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe told Angel TV in an interview.

Andre Ayew has been a member of the Black Stars since 2009 after he led the Ghana U20 team to lift the FIFA U20 World Cup.

He has already played at two world cups with the Ghana national team and is in line to make it three at this year’s mundial in Qatar.
