Liberty assistant coach Felix Aboagye lauds players for All Stars win

Liberty Professionals assistant coach Felix Aboagye has praised his players for their commitment despite the off field happenings prior to the game.

Liberty defeated All Stars 1-0 at the Dansoman Park to enhance their chances of escaping relegation from this season’s premier league.

The players prior to the game boycotted training in agitation of their unpaid salaries.

This many predicted was going to have a negative impact on the team, but they managed to clinch all three points against a well organized Wa All Stars team.

“It shows the character of our players because it is not easy to work and not get paid for some months,” he said

“We were able to organize them psychologically for the game and we hope the situation will be rectified for us to win our next two games to keep our place in the league.”
