Liberty Captain Samuel Sarfo hints at exit

Liberty Professionals Captain Samuel Sarfo has hinted at leaving the club for any team that provides him with a lucrative contract.

The player, who also doubles up as a Policeman, has revealed he is in talks with the club on whether or not to extend or abrogate his contract.

Having had a stellar season, where he ended up as one of the high scoring defenders, Sarfo has emerged a target of some big club including Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.

The strong defender revealed on local Radio Station Happy FM, he might leave the club if he gets a better offer elsewhere.

“I’m a footballer, that’s the profession I chose. Any team that needs my services can talk to my management”, Sarfo said Happy FM.

“I’m still in negotiations with Liberty Professionals on whether or not to extend my contract, but anything could happen.”

Samuel Sarfo was one of the stars of the West Africa Football Union Championship, helping the Black Stars B to success.

He formed a solid partnership with Hearts defender Vincent Atinga.

The Policeman has seen a meteoric rise in his career after he was handed a senior national team call up by Coach Kwesi Appiah for the friendlies against the United States and Mexico earlier this year.

The defender helped Liberty avoid relegation after a difficult season.
