Liberty coach George Lamptey hails players after Hearts win

Liberty Professional coach, George Lamptey has hailed his players for their excellent performance against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in their Premier league game on Thursday.

The Scientific Soccer Lads stunned the Phobians at their backyard with a lone goal victory courtesy a strike by Issah Mohammed Shaibu.

The win sends Liberty level on points with Kotoko who are placed fourth with 23 points.

“I must hail my boys for such a good performance, they played very well right from the referee’s whistle to the end and they showed they were hungry for victory," he said after the game

“It is a great win for us and I believe this will keep us going, we just have to prepare for our next game and hope to maintain this kind of performance but I must congratulate my guys today.

Liberty who has an outstanding fixture against Medeama SC will next host Ebusua Dwarfs at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.
