Coach of Liberty Professionals Ignatius Osei Fosu has lamented on the team’s inability to score goals despite playing some of the best football in the Ghana Premier League.

The scientific soccer lads have found goal scoring a rare occurrence after bagging in only 12 goals in 13 games.

The Dansoman based club will host Tema Youth in Match Day 14 of the Premier League on Sunday and ahead of the game, Coach Osei Fosu indicated goal scoring has been a headache for them.

“We can’t score goals because when you look at our results we draw a lot of games. Our games usually end 1-1 , 0-0, so it’s obvious we can’t score goals,” he said.

“You can’t entirely blame the strikers. We all know Frank Lampard who is a midfielder scores goals. The main problem is decision making from midfield to the strikers.”

Liberty Professionals are 13th on the League table and are seeking a win over Tema Youth at the Carl Reindorf Park.
