Liberty Professionals Coach Michael Osei has admitted Captain Samuel Sarfo might leave the Club before the start of next season.

The strong defender was phenomenal for the Dansoman based side last season, scoring six times to help the club avoid relegation on the last day.

His performances has drawn interest from several club and Coach Michael Osei is unsure of the player's future at the club next season.

”Sammy is a hot cake right now and definitely some of the big clubs will need his services so let’s wait and see what happens,” Osei told Star FM.

Samuel Sarfo, who doubles up as a Policeman, was arguably the best defender last season. He played a vital role as the Black Stars B were crowned Champions of the West Africa Football Championship in September.

His partnership with former Hearts defender saw Ghana concede the less goals at the Championship for players based in the country.

Samuel Sarfo Maldini also earned a debut call up to the national team proper where he featured for the Black Stars in the international friendlies against Mexico and the United States in America.

Sevral Clubs including Kumasi Asante Kotoko are interested in the player. The 27 year old has also been linked with clubs abroad with the United States the most likeliest destination.
