Liberty Professionals attacker Elvis Kyei Baffour says he will accept a pay cut in bid to help fight the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

All football activities in the country have been suspended by the Ghana Football Association to prevent the spread of the disease also called Covid-19.

Ghana has recorded 195 Covid-19 cases, including five (5) deaths as of 1st April 2020 and currently there is a two-week partial lock-down in the West African country

"If our salaries will be slashed to push covid-19 away, I will have no problem about it, I’m ever ready but if it is for any other reason then it wouldn’t help us because our salaries are not even enough and as footballers," Baffour told Kumasi FM.

"We also have some responsibilities in our family to perform. If the pay cut is to purposely push covid-19 away, I will welcome it."
