Liberty Professionals midfielder Mubarak Alhassan happy to net debut goal in win over Ebusua Dwarfs

Liberty Professionals midfielder Mubarak Alhassan has expressed his delight after scoring his debut goal for the club their 2-1 win over Ebusua Dwarfs on match day four of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Scientific Soccer lads produced a spirited performance to come from a goal down to beat Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium.

After a goalless first half, Ebusua Dwarfs took the lead through Seidu Abubakar in the 69th minute of the game.

However, Liberty levelled the score courtesy Alhassan Mubarak strike four minutes later.

Rudolf Mensah grabbed the match-winner for Liberty Professionals to hand them their first victory of the on-going season.

Speaking to the media after the game, the midfielder expressed his happiness after scoring his first goal of the club.

"I’m very happy for my goal. Most importantly the team winning the game," he said.

"I started in the first game but since then I haven’t been able to feature in any of the games. The coach told me to keep working hard and that he has faith in me. I thank God I have delivered for him."
