Liberty Professionals striker Bernard Arthur says he dedicated his goal in the 1-1 stalemate against Bolga All Stars to the late Sam Ardey.

“For the past four games, I’ve not hit the back of the net and I’m delight to have broken that spell today and I dedicate it to the late Sam Ardey,” Arthur said.

“I cannot complain much about the result because both sides went in for the maximum points and also when you take the weather condition into consideration I believe we’ve done well.”

“Not many teams can come here and compete under this harsh condition. We will go back and prepare for our next game.”

Noah Neequaye opened the scoring for Bolga All Stars in the 60th minute strike but Bernard Arthur quickly leveled the scores in the 64th minute mark to earn a vital point for his side at the Tamale Utrecht Park on Sunday.

Liberty climb to 13th on the table with 13 points from 11 games.
