Liberty Professionals winger Latif Blessing says he has never said any where that he is better than Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed. Blessing is currently the joint top scorer in the Ghana Premier League with Mohammed on 13 goals.
There were reports suggesting that the 21-year-old had granted an interview and stated that he is better than the former Asante Kotoko striker and that he will beat him to the goal king award.
But in an interview with Kumasi-based radio station Metro FM, Blessing denied those reports.
"I've never said anywhere that I'm better than him [Yahaya Mohammed]. He is my senior in football and a very experienced player as such," he told Kumasi based radio station Metro FM.
"I said i've a lot of respect for him and I admired his style of play and for that matter, I also described myself as one of the best players in the league,". he added.
