Lierse Kempenzonen midfielder Terry Osei-Berkoe set for sideline duties through injury

Ghanaian international Terry Osei-Berkoe is set to miss action for Belgian club Lierse Kempenzonen after picking up a knock.

The Belgian-born attacker picked up the injury during the side’s 2-0 friendly defeat to Eendracht Termien.

According to reports, he has Achilles tendon problem which will likely keep him out of action for a while.

Further tests are expected to be conducted on the 21-year-old to ascertain when he will make full recovery.

Due to his current situation, Osei-Berkoe has been left out of the squad as a precautionary move ahead of the start of the new season.

The former Club Brugge youngster is hoping to get back to full fitness to ensure he doesn’t miss much of the 2019/2020 season in the Belgian lower division.

He will however certainly miss the season opener against La Louvière next week.
