Juventus are trying to find a spot for centre-back Daniele Rugani, after the player hasn't been able to have playing time under Sarri and last season he was on loan at Cagliari, where he played 16 matches. Rugani, once believed to be Bonucci and Chiellini's heir apparent, has fallen off the preferences at Juventus and now it seems that Real Betis are the latest club to knock at la vecchia Signora's door to inquire about the defender.

As learned by tuttomercatoweb, Betis has made an initial contact for the player, trying to find out what it would take to bring Rugani to La Liga. The Spanish club is in fact looking for an experienced centre-back for skipper Manuel Pellegrini, and Rugani seems to fit the profile of what they are looking for. The Italian international is under contract with Juventus until 2023, so the bianconeri hope to get something substantial back from the sale, maybe to reinvest on the transfer market.
