Real Madrid have entered the battle to sign RB Leipzig playmaker Dani Olmo, who is also a transfer target for rivals Barcelona and PL giants Man United.

Spain international has grown into one of the most in-demand playmakers in Europe since breaking out at Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, whom the footballer signed for in 2014 from Barcelona’s La Masia youth setup.

Having risen to prominence, Olmo ended up making the switch to the Bundesliga giants in winter last year, where has gone from strength to strength. A crucial figure for the German club, Dani has also become an integral member of the Spanish national team, impressing heavily in the Euro 2020 earlier this summer.

His rise to prominence has once again put the 23-year-old playmaker on the radars of several top teams, including boyhood club Blaugrana. Barcelona tried to sign the Spanish playmaker back on the transfer deadline day last month, but a move failed to materialise as the Bundesliga giants were unwilling to do business so late in the window.

However, the Blaugrana have continued to hold an interest in the playmaker ever since and have even planned negotiations with RB Leipzig over his signing next year.

Apart from Real Madrid and Barcelona, Man United, who are interested in signing the Spaniard. The Red Devils have a stocked attacking unit as things stand, with a plethora of quality options in each position in the final third.
