Good evening and welcome to the live updates of the Match Week 4 fixture of the Ghana Premier League season between Legon Cities FC and Obuasi Ashanti Gold Sporting Club (SC).

The highly-anticipated fixture is being played under floodlights at Accra Sports Stadium.

The Royal club who is playing as the home team is chasing a first win of the 2019/2020 Ghanaian top-flight season while the Miners have eyed a win that will see them remain unbeaten after four games.

And we are off as the referee whistle to start the match.

Early exchanges with both teams playing at a low tempo with caution to avoid conceding an early goal.

Approaching the half-hour mark, still nothing to separate the two clubs. Ashanti Gold has managed to create a couple of goal-scoring opportunities but has been unable to apply the needed finishing touch.
