Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been named the Premier League'sManager of the Month after celebrating one year since arriving at the club last season.

Since taking over from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015, the former Borussia Dortmund coach has instilled a brand new philosophy and style to the team, adding an attacking mindset to the side that had previously struggled to score goals, and with the addition of new players in the recent transfer window, Klopp's Reds have started the season well.

The German coach picked up three wins from three in the month of September, beating Hull City, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and a thumping 4-1 victory over the reigning league champions Leicester City.

Klopp beat the likes of Manchester City's Pep Guardiola, Arsenal's Arsene Wenger, Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino and Crystal Palace's Alan Pardew to claim the prestigious award, and is the first Liverpool boss to win the award since Brendan Rodgers won it in March 2014 after a title surge that eventually just fell short.

The Merseyside club also received another award through their club captain Jordan Henderson, who was awarded the Goal of the Month for his sensational long range looping strike against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, beating keeper Thibaut Courtois with ease, and eventually leading his side to a 2-1 victory.

Klopp will hope to continue his good form at the helm of Liverpool as they nextwelcome Jose Mourinho'sManchester United to Anfield on Monday night,in the first clash between these two rivals of the season, and, if results go their way, could go to the top of the table.
