Liverpool boss Klopp pushes on with Mbappe plan after agents talks

Liverpool are pressing ahead with a move for AS Monaco superkid Kylian Mbappe.

The Daily Mail says Jurgen Klopp has made contact with Mbappe's agents as Liverpool throw their name into the ring for Europe's most in-demand teenager.

Real Madrid lead the chase for the 18-year-old and are prepared to pay a fee beyond £100 million for Mbappe, as they look to build on retaining the Champions League.

However, after following Mbappe for a year, Klopp has now held preliminary talks with his representatives.

Mbappe may come face-to-face with England in Paris on Tuesday, with France certain to ring the changes after their 2-1 World Cup qualifying defeat to Sweden last Friday.
