Liverpool have expressed interest in signing Ghana target and Athletic Bilbao attacker Nico Williams, according to reports.
Williams is attracting interest from several clubs following his impressive performance for the La Liga side last season.
The young attacker recently won a new deal at Athletic, which included his buyout clause rising from €40m to €50m.
The Reds are reportedly readying a huge £35.7m (€42m) offer to Bilbao for Williams, who appeared in 34 La Liga games.
And despite registering three goals, he is already being tipped as a future international for Spain despite his interest to play for Ghana.
Williams is expected to feature even more prominently under Ernesto Valverde this season.
He is the younger brother of Athletic star Inaki Williams.
Williams first represented Spain with the U-18 squad in 2020, scoring two goals in four games.
He was called up to the Spain U-19s in February 2021, and made his debut for the U-21s in September of the same year.
