Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has named his Premier League xi with many surprise inclusions.
Carragher was asked to name the team that he thinks is best representative of the League based on what he has seen thus far thus season. He did include a few names from Liverpool though the majority of his inclusions where from defending champions Chelsea.
It is rather surprising to note that only one Manchester United player made the list in goalkeeper David de Gea and no Manchester City made the list.
This is very surprising considering that the two Manchester clubs are currently playing the best football in England and are on top of the Premier League standings with 19 points apiece.
The players that he chose were: GK: David De Gea, RB: Cesar Azpilicueta, CB: Toby Alderweireld, CB: Jan Vertonghen, LB: Marcos Alonso, RCM: Kevin De Bruyne, CM: N'Golo Kante, LCM: Philippe Coutinho, RW: Sadio Mane, CF: Harry Kane, LW: Eden Hazard.
